The history of our family has gone for centuries around Siena, its tradition, its territory. This wine produced in the sienese hills is for us a symbol of our identity and origins. We are proud to enjoy every day the rare beauty and generosity of these hills.

Grape varietal: Sangiovese 100%

Location of vineyards: Selected grapes from the La Piera vineyard on the Marcianella estate (near Chiusi)

Altitude: 300 m

Exposure: East-South East

Soil: tufo with striata of clay

Training system: Cordon spur

Vineyard density: 5.000 vines per hectare

Vinification and aging: Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats where maceration lasts for 10 – 12 days at a controlled temperature of 25°C. Only stainless steel.

Color: Ruby red

Nose: Intensely fruity and elegant bouquet. Brings to mind cherries and red fruit.

Taste: Fresh, elegant and pleasantly rounded.

Notes: This wine is meant to be drunk young in order to appreciate its freshness and its bouquet

Serving suggestions: An excellent accompaniment for pasta, both white and red meat, and cheese

Serving temperature: 18° C
